Heytesbury House owner operators Kathryn and Andrew Stubbings were pleased to be recently awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for the fourth year in a row.
Kathryn and Andrew relocated from Melbourne to Cobden seven years ago and took on the challenge of operating Heytesbury House. The property had previously been run as a Bed and Breakfast and had a period of inactivity prior to their purchase.
Looking for a total change in lifestyle, the couple left the city and headed to South West Victoria to pursue their dreams. While it’s had its challenges, the efforts they have put into both the property and the business are now paying off.
“We are very excited that we have received this recognition from TripAdvisor for the fourth year running,” Andrew said.
Even though our TripAdvisor review score is Excellent, we are not complacent, with many improvements planned for the coming year.
“We continue to review all aspects of our business to continuously improve our business and what we have to offer guests,” he added.
“We would like to thank our guests for their support of our business, and for taking the time to provide us with great reviews on TripAdvisor.
TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence honour hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service. TripAdvisor makes use of user-generated content such as review ratings to award businesses with this recognition. The Certificate of Excellence takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.
In 2016, Heytesbury House Luxury Bed and Breakfast was also named a Silver Winner in the Hosted Accommodation category of the Victorian Tourism Awards.
