In recent weeks Andrew has been busy redeveloping the Bronte Suite as part of our ongoing commitment to continually refresh our accommodation offerings.
The room’s iconic chandelier remains as a key focal piece, but we’ve added new wall lighting, removed the bedside lamps and installed heritage light switches and power points.
Some real wow factor has been added with a cast iron fire inset and some really effective candle-style lights that bring life to the whole fireplace and mantel.
We also removed the wallpaper and the entire suite was repainted. Of course, no makeover is complete without lush new carpet and Kathryn’s creative eye for styling.
This was the first of a few renovations and we’re planning on systematically refreshing all the rooms. Our drawing room is next on the list, restoring heritage colours to the communal lounge area.
We think it’s really important for repeat visitors that our rooms are kept current and fresh. In reality, beautiful buildings like Heytesbury House require constant repairs and we get a lot of satisfaction out of keeping the residence in tip-top shape.
Bronte suite includes private access to the veranda and has an ensuite boasting a double corner bath and separate shower.
While the fireplace lighting sets the scene, you have your own personal heating and cooling controls and of course there’s a TV/DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and Bluetooth dock.
